Siege!

Design, build, and test siege-inspired inventions, exploring the science of force, motion, and creative problem-solving.

5 Half-Day Camp

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s innovative war machine concepts, this hands-on engineering camp challenges students to think like inventors, builders, and problem-solvers. Campers will design and test catapults, construct wall-climbing mechanisms, build defensive structures, and experiment with the principles of launching, force, and motion. Through trial, testing, and redesign, students will discover how engineering solutions evolve and learn how creativity and physics work together to solve real-world challenges. By the end of camp, students will create their own unique siege-inspired invention to take home.
