We are actively building relationships with local schools, homeschool programs, and youth organizations to ensure the museum reflects real, current needs across Southern Colorado.
This work is grounded in collaboration. We are listening and learning alongside educational institutions, local businesses, and regional partners including the Latino Chamber of Commerce, Pueblo Greater Chamber of Commerce, Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce, OEDIT, HARP, Pueblo Urban Renewal, the Pueblo Convention Center, and fellow cultural and tourism organizations. Together, we are shaping something that belongs to the community as much as it serves it.
We are also partnering with local artists and residents to create a living dialogue between the Renaissance and today’s creative landscape, including original contributions from Bonnie Waugh, Eric McCue, Sheri Hunt, and Joel Carpenter.
At every step, we are looking for meaningful ways to celebrate and elevate Pueblo, from its small businesses to its creative voices. Those interested in partnering with us are warmly invited to connect at media@davincisteam.org.
Our main exhibit features hands-on models of machines inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s sketches and drawings, alongside some of his most recognized paintings. We will continually refresh these models, giving you new reasons to bring your family back again and again to spark curiosity and wonder.
The museum will also house the complete collection of Leonardo’s notes and sketches, curated by Giunti Publishing in Florence Italy. Additional interactive exhibits are on the way.

Pueblo’s Next Chapter of Discovery
Pueblo is transforming and we are part of its next chapter.
Pueblo is the perfect home for North America’s first Leonardo da Vinci Museum. Rooted in generations of makers, builders, and problem-solvers, the city has a long legacy of ingenuity, from its industrial heritage to today’s revitalized Riverwalk and growing arts and education community.
Here, curiosity is welcomed. It’s part of the culture. And it’s exactly the kind of place where Da Vinci’s spirit of invention can inspire the next generation.

Where Invention Becomes Reality
Our exhibit collection is built in partnership with the Artisans of Florence, the globally respected workshop that reconstructs Leonardo da Vinci’s machines directly from his original codices. Their master builders transform centuries-old designs into full-scale, functional models using traditional Renaissance materials and techniques.
These creations form the heart of our museum; immersive, interactive machines that invite visitors to learn through touch, movement, and discovery. From flight and engineering to anatomy and architecture, each exhibit blends history, imagination, and hands-on exploration. This is only the beginning of what awaits when we open in Spring 2026.
