Kinetic Art

Students combine creativity and engineering as they design and build moving cardboard artwork.

5 Half-Day Camp

Overview

Students will design and build kinetic art projects using mechanisms like cams, hydraulics, motors, and magnets to create sculptures and inventions that spin, lift, move, and interact. Through experimentation and creative problem-solving, campers will discover how motion and mechanics can transform simple materials into dynamic works of art. Students will leave with unique take-home projects while developing both artistic and engineering skills.
