Carnival Science

Explore the physics behind roller coasters through hands-on engineering challenges and exciting carnival fun.

5 Half-Day Camp

Overview

Carnival Science brings the excitement of the midway into a hands-on engineering adventure

Throughout the week, campers will discover the science that makes carnival attractions work by building, designing, and testing their own creations. Students will construct a working cardboard claw machine, explore circuits and structures while designing a theme park ride, and investigate the forces and motion behind roller coasters and other attractions.

Through creative challenges and real-world problem solving, campers will learn key concepts in engineering, physics, and design while strengthening critical thinking and teamwork skills. Every day combines experimentation, creativity, and hands-on discovery, with take-home projects that let students continue the fun beyond camp.
